Helping to deliver Irish rugby across the globe it's now time for DHL to partner with your rugby team.. Whether it’s your school team, local rugby club or even your tag rugby team, DHL want to sponsor your team with a full kit and a range of equipment. 
Entering the competition is easy – all you need to do is share on social media why you think your team deserves this prize.
Whether it’s a video message, a group photo or something that means a lot to your team, DHL want to hear from you.

Terms and conditions


  1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. By participating in this competition, all participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. If an entrant does not follow the terms and conditions they are not eligible to win the associated Prize.
  2. The Promoter is DHL Express, Unit 3 Elm Road, Dublin Airport Logistics Park, St Margaret’s Road, St. Margaret’s, Co Dublin. Additionally, this promotion is in conjunction with the IRFU.
  3. Promotional Period:
    1. Entries will be accepted between 12:30pm GMT on Tuesday 1st November 2022 and 14.00 GMT on Friday 25th November inclusive. All entries must be received by the end of the relevant Promotional Period. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be accepted.
  4. Entry is open to any youth rugby team in the Republic of Ireland between the ages of 7-17, playing in the schoolboy or schoolgirl leagues. The image or video for the competition must be submitted on social media by a parent or guardian or the coach of the team being entered, provided the coach has permission of a parent/guardian of any children that may be included in such submission. When the winners are chosen, proof of age will be sought by the Promoter to confirm eligibility of this prize.
  5. The parent or guardian refers to the individual who holds parental responsibility for the child.
  6. Entry is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland only.
  7. To Enter:
    ​​To enter this competition, entrants must share an image or video outlining why their team should win this prize by using the hashtag #DHLRugbyGiveaway and tagging DHL Express Ireland and IRFU in your post.
  8. For the purpose of selecting two winners, only the names or usernames of the individuals who uploaded the image or video will be recorded and stored within a secure database held locally by the Promoter. These names or usernames will only be stored until a winner is selected, which will take place in December 2022. After this time, the data will be deleted, except for the winners of the competition. The winner’s information will be needed to process and fulfil the Prize as well as promotional activities. This will include images, video content and possibly other forms of media. The winners names or usernames will be kept on the secure file for a period of 1 year.
  9. The Promoter will judge entries in conjunction with an independent party and two winners will be selected to win the prize.
  10. The winners will need to supply the following details to DHL in order to arrange the Prize:
    - Team name
    - Individual contact
    - Phone number
    - Full address
    - Number of players on team
    - Team crest and colours
  11. By entering the DHL Grassroots competition, entrants give their consent for the entries to be used by the Promoter, the IRFU without compensation, over and above the award of the Prize, for up to one year for promotional purposes from the date of entry. Copyright will remain with the entrant.
    - By entering this Promotion, the entrant agrees to the Promoter, the IRFU publishing or sharing these entries on their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms.
    - They also agree to participate in any reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion of the Promoter’s choosing without consent or further payment, over and above the award of the Prize, for up to one year from the date of entry. Appropriate credit will be given to the original entrant at the Promoter’s discretion. Promotional activities will include images and video content for social media and possible other forms of media.
  12. The Prize:
    Two teams will be selected by DHL to receive a full kit and a range of training apparel and equipment as detailed below:
    - Full embroidered Jerseys from 1-23 with DHL logo
    - 10 training rugby balls
    - 3 match day rugby balls
    - 26 embroidered tracksuit tops and bottoms with DHL logo
    - 2 tackle bags

  13. The winner of the competition will be contacted on the social media account that they used to submit their entry. They will be required to respond to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the Prize within 3 working days of initial contact. If the winner does not respond to communications within 3 working days, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and award the Prize to a reserve winner.
  14. The Prize is non-transferable, is not exchangeable and has no cash or other alternative in whole or in part.
  15. Selected designs, colours and sizes are subject to availability.
  16. Any personal data will be held in accordance with all the relevant data protection legislation currently in force. The Promoter will only use personal data for the administration of this Promotion and no other purpose unless we have your consent.
  17. Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter have their own privacy policies. By uploading to these platforms, it is the responsibility of the competition entrant to abide by and follow these policies and not that of the Promoter.
  18. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any entrant entering the promotion or as a result of accepting or participating in any Prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
  19. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter or its agencies. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to lost, delayed or not received entries or winner notifications.
  20. If you are a winner of the Promotion, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, entry (if applicable) and town or county of residence to announce the winners of this Promotion.
  21. By entering the Promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  22. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
  23. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion.
  24. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.

  26. DHL reserves the right to void the competition Prize at any time and change the conditions.
  27. DHL reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any Prize if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this competition.
